Bruce is a dedicated trial attorney with extensive experience in personal injury litigation and trial work for over 35 years.
His experience as a former insurance defense lawyer has given him valuable insight into how insurance companies investigate, evaluate, and defend cases, providing him with a strategic advantage when representing clients against insurance companies and large corporations.
Bruce’s practice centers on the preparation and trial of complex civil litigation, with extensive experience across a wide range of matters. He regularly handles cases involving general liability and personal injury, including automobile and trucking accidents, slip and falls, construction site incidents, and wrongful death. His work also encompasses commercial and residential premises liability, product liability, and professional liability claims such as pharmacy errors and omissions. Bruce has represented clients in cases involving homeowner’s liability, dog bites, lead paint exposure, and food borne illnesses, as well as property damage and insurance-related disputes. He is well-versed in consumer protection law, including unfair business practices under Chapters 93A and 176D, and also has experience with insurance coverage issues, arbitration, and mediation.
Bruce has tried well over 100 cases to verdict, including more than 70 jury trials in the Superior Court.
After many years on the defense side, Bruce grew disheartened by how insurance companies managed claims and felt many deserving claimants were being treated unfairly. This led him to pursue his new path as a personal injury lawyer with Diller Law, whom he had previously worked with on past cases.
“I had seen Diller Law’s competence and professionalism and the firm really stood out as one of the best plaintiff personal injury firms in Massachusetts, and I wanted to be a part.” says Murray.
In addition to his legal practice, Bruce has lectured in the areas of trial practice and premises liability for continuing education programs, as well as for the retail and insurance industries. He has also served as a volunteer judge for the Massachusetts Bar Association High School Mock Trial Tournament and the Suffolk Law School Mock Trial Tournament, and as a volunteer conciliator in the Brockton, Stoughton, and Quincy District Courts.
Outside the courtroom, Bruce is committed to community service. He has volunteered with Youth Enrichment Services and the Fresh Air Fund, serving as a host family for many years.
