PERSONAL STORY

As a young girl Liz loved school so much that she dreamt of becoming a teacher. Her passion for helping people to learn drove her to study Education at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. Originally Liz planned to teach Spanish to elementary school students, but in her final year of college a professor inspired her to change paths. That professor said, “just as teachers advocate, attorneys educate.”

Liz chose to attend Suffolk Law in Boston, Maschussetts, because of the university’s superior technological advancements. In the summer of her first year, Liz had the prestigious honor of an internship in the Consumer Protection Buerau of the Massachusetts Office of Attorney General, Tom Reilly. She went on to work part-time at personal injury law firm where she genuinely enjoyed helping injured people navigate their insurance claims and legal rights.

After graduating Suffolk, Liz passed the Massachusetts and New York State BAR examinations and relocated to Albany, New York where she presently lives with her husband and son. She currently works on both New York and Massachusetts based cases.

Liz chose to practice personal injury law because injured clients are at one of the most difficult points in their lives and they need an advocate and educator. Liz helps victims who have been wronged and taken advantage of. She prides herself on providing each client with the information needed to make the best decision for his or her particular situation.

Since 2013, Liz volunteers by giving powerful presentations at community events and local high schools with the goal of teaching new drivers how to make good choices behind the steering wheel. She teams with the CBS6 Albany news station to spread awareness about the dangers of distracted driving.
